A Sneak Peek Into What It's Like To Run An Indoor Playground

The indoor playground industry in the United States employs a little over 9,000 people and is made up of around 667 businesses, making this a growing but niche industry.

When most people walk into an indoor playground, like Arrows, they are not thinking about industry standards or building codes, but simply having a fun day with their children! Running an indoor playground requires us to take so many things into consideration, such as playground material quality, custom design, and keeping the playground clean.

From a distance, most playgrounds look the same. However, there are indoor playground materials that are significantly better and safer than others.

Our equipment is manufactured to meet the strictest of international safety standards and is fully compliant with ASTM F1918, the first safety standard made specifically for indoor playgrounds and is one of the most authorized indoor playground safety standards in the world. All testing of materials and indoor playground products are performed by SGS S.A., one of the world’s largest and most reputable testing laboratories.

Secondly, many people do not realize that not every play park is custom-designed! Many play parks choose to go with a pre-made playground design instead of building it out to their specific space.

Arrows Active Play Park was created to fit our unique building and eliminate wasted space. It was important to us to create a custom design surrounding our play park, so we could emphasize our western theme that points back to the Scripture that started it all, Psalm 127:3-4.

We wanted to make Arrows a one-of-a-kind experience for anyone who walks through the doors.

Lastly, no one wants to go to an unsanitized play park.

As kids are playing, running, and climbing around it is absolutely necessary for the public health and safety of our customers that our park is being routinely cleaned! At Arrows, our Playground Attendants sanitize the park hourly to ensure the safety of those in the park and to limit the spread of germs.

Owning and operating an indoor play park has opened our eyes to learn so much about this industry! From safety standards to making a playground feel special and unique, Arrows is here to be your go-to park. We desire to create a space where parents and children can intentionally spend time together and be safe while doing it.
