Can we be honest for a minute?
Raising kids can be tough! Being a friend, a spouse, a business owner, and a parent can be taxing. We understand that finding ways to connect with your children can be hard.
This is why our mission at Arrows Active Play Park is to serve families while pointing their children to our only true source of hope, Jesus.
Here at Arrows, everything we do is driven by Psalm 127:3-4 which says, “Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from Him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them.”
In this passage of Scripture, children are referred to as arrows.
Similarly to children, arrows must be carefully crafted, balanced, and straight. The warrior, or the parent, must see the target clearly, he must apply the proper tension, make adjustments for wind and distance, then, at the right moment, release the arrow towards the target.
This is our calling as warrior moms and dads!
We have been gifted the God-given opportunity to shape and form our children’s character and values so they can one day go out to be world changers. While this is a huge responsibility to raise godly children that know and love the Lord, it is a tremendous privilege!
By His grace, we can do it.
How Can Arrows Help?
The pace of life we are expected to live in is fast and busy and overwhelming.
Distractions are everywhere, so being a warrior parent forging our arrows often seems like an uphill battle. We created Arrows Active Play Park to give parents a place to have purposeful engagement with their children and make the most of their time with their kids. We want more children turning away from the screens and towards each other!
We also recognize that this responsibility can drain a warrior parent leaving them with little or no energy.
Arrows is also here to give parents a place to feel refreshed. Our space was designed for you to play with your children or to sit back and enjoy a cup of speciality coffee to refuel and recharge. We trust 2 Corinthians 12:9 when it says, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
Ruth Schwenk once said, “It’s about straightening what’s crooked. Sanding the rough spots. Sharpening the point. Adjusting the feathers. Dedicating time to target practice. It’s making sure this arrow understands its purpose, the reason it will someday be set free in flight.”
As you raise your arrows, we want to support, encourage, and serve you however we can. Let us know how we can help, pray, or encourage you!
